Release of zCart 2.19.0

Bulk Upload Merchant Using CSV

The Merchant Bulk Upload feature in zCart allows the marketplace admin to efficiently add multiple vendors/shops/sellers at once using a preformatted CSV file. This functionality significantly streamlines the onboarding process by enabling bulk import of essential vendor details such as shop name, owner information, email, phone number, address, and basic configurations like status, subscription plan, and trial time. Once the CSV is uploaded, the system validates the data and automatically creates vendor accounts with the provided information and sets all the default configurations to help with a quick start. A sample CSV template is included to guide proper formatting. This feature is particularly useful for large marketplaces looking to onboard numerous sellers quickly and consistently.

Bulk Inventory Upload with Disabled Catalog

The Bulk Inventory Upload feature now supports uploading product/inventories via CSV even when the global catalog system is disabled. This enhancement empowers vendors to manage their own independent product listings without relying on shared catalog items. Vendors can bulk upload their inventories by providing essential product details such as name, SKU, price, quantity, images, descriptions, categories, and other attributes directly through a CSV file. The system validates and processes the entries, automatically creating individual product records under the vendor's shop. This feature is ideal for marketplaces focused on vendor-specific inventories and offers a faster, more flexible onboarding process for product data. A downloadable CSV template is provided to ensure proper formatting.

Admin Bulk Inventory Upload for Vendors Using CSV

With this new feature, marketplace admins can now upload inventories on behalf of vendors using a structured CSV file. This is particularly useful for onboarding new vendors or assisting less technical sellers with large product datasets. Admins can specify the target vendor/shop in the CSV and include essential product details such as title, SKU, pricing, quantity, images, category, and descriptions. The system validates each row and assigns the uploaded products directly to the specified vendor's inventory. A downloadable template is provided for accurate formatting, ensuring a smooth and efficient import process.

Customizable Vendor Verified Badge Requirements

This feature allows marketplace admins to configure and customize the criteria for awarding the "Verified Vendor" badge. Admins can define specific conditions such as document uploads, email or phone verification, completed profile information, or a minimum number of approved listings. This ensures greater flexibility and control over the vendor verification process, helping to maintain trust and credibility in the marketplace. The configuration panel is accessible from the admin dashboard and supports real-time updates without requiring code changes.
